What a cool and fun book! I love vintage towels and this book shows hundreds of pictures of them. Just about every design you can think of is printed on these towels, including Black Americana, children, desserts, floral, gardening, spirits and lots more, all from the 1930's through 1960's. Excellent information on the history of the companies that made these towels plus information on textile artists. Interesting to read glossary and a chapter on how to launder vintage linens. Also shows wonderful old catalog and Magazine advertisements for these towels including their original descriptions and prices which I loved reading. Also recommended "Fun Linens & Handkerchiefs" by Scofield & Zalamea.
