Reader Reviews
This review is from: Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls: Identification and Values (Collector's Guide to) (Hardcover)
As a casual collector of Vogue's Ginny and Jill dolls, I'm always looking for information about their development, costumes, and history. It is easy enough to open any good doll book and find a page to two devoted to them, but to discover a source with this much information is a treat! This handsome 300+ hardcover volume covers such topics as Vogue's incorporation, early dolls and toys made by the company, clothing tags and identifying marks, and the evolution of Ginny. A very large portion of the book is dedicated to the Ginny Doll Family. It is a delight to browse through this book. It is well written and beautifully illustrated with a large majority of the photographs in color. Values are given and a table of contents and index are provided. I highly recommend it.
