As a newbie to fishing lure collecting, I reference this book more than any other. With so many types of lures, color variations, hardware variations, conditions, etc., it would take a four thousand page book to cover it all. It seems the price estimates in the book run a little high on average, but that may just be a result of it being written during before our Great Recession. Organization of the lures seems a bit scatter shot too, but easy enough to sort through. My advice would be to purchase a few books but this one should be in your arsenal. Great pictures and history. Even covers lesser known brands and identity.
