George Johnson's book on Christmas ornaments adds a nice touch to any collector's bookshelf. This new volume is largely about glass ornaments and happily includes a wide range of them. Other chapters deal with Dresden ornaments, plus paper, wax, fabric, metal, and plastic decorations. Additionally there are sections on electric lighting, tree tops, and stands. Altogether there are nearly 2,000 full color photos with descriptions and values.

It definitively covers Dresden ornaments, and ornaments made of glass, paper, fabrice, metal, wax, and more. It contains thousands of photographs of mostly pre-war ornaments, a wealth of information and a price guide to help value your collection. Even if you are not an ornament collector, you'll find this book contains collections that will absolutely amaze you. This book will remain in my library forever.
