This book is superb. The authors cover the major brands and give a short historical narrative as well as photos of that brand's watches over time (no pun intended). Throughout the book there are descriptions of the different types of watches (e.g., chronographs, dual time, etc.), photos of famous people and their watches, pictures of advertisements and write-ups about how watches are made and the components used (e.g., how dials are made). The book is tri-lingual (English, French and German). The book is large: approx. 9 x 12 inches and 400 pages. The title page is worth the price of the book--the author's names, the publisher and title are photo-inscripted onto a photo of a watch movement. The seller, Warehouse Deals, was quick in mailing the book and the cost was inexpensive.
