Timothy C. Fabrizio and George F. Paul are accomplished authorities on talking machines and are both residents of New York State. Tim currently restores and sells these machines. George's Phonograph Forum column has been a feature of the New Amberola Graphic* since 1983.

The book Phonographs With Flair came out a few years ago, and it's one of the better books on the subject. The photos are excellent and it covers many different models from 1890s thru the 1970s. Included are many photos of very oddball models, many of which are probably near extinction today. If you have any interest at all in music, record collecting or icons of the 20th century, this book is an excellent choice.
