This book provides an excellent broad coverage of antiques and collectibles, plus the market reports give very helpful Insight into hot areas, based on interviews with dealers in the field. The intro explains how appraisals are done, and there's an interesting article on the American Pickers. All 4,500 photos are in color, and there's a photo for almost every listing to help positively identify what you've got. There are hundreds of marks and category introductions to explain the history and background of the makers. And there's hundreds of tips spread throughout the pages. This book is definite must for your library!
