Whitman has created a simple, yet very colorful America the Beautiful quarters album. The album's front, back and insides are of glossy-colored print material. The front and back covers are 2/16 of a inch thick and very sturdy. There is only one slot for each quarter and only one side can be displayed. Coins fit nice and snug in their individual slots that are within or near a State map. The 5 U.S. Territories and District of Columbia each have slots, but no map is shown. Bear in mind, that this album contains slots for the 2010 to 2021 National Park/Historical Park/National Forest quarters. The 6 quarters issued in 2009, of the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories, are not shown in this album (see "U.S. Territory & D.C. Quarter Color Folder-2009", sold by Amazon.com). On the back cover there is a helpful list that tells you the name and year of issue for each quarter. A page on the inside tells when each national park, historical park, national refuge or national forest was established. Other than that, there is no other historical information given. Also, the inside page serves as a protective sheet for the coins on the right panel. However, no inside protective sheet covers the coins on the left panel. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this album.
