Reader Reviews
At the time of this review a used copy is going for $400. There is a lot of detailed history in this book. Beyond that, I expected a ton of color photos and a broad range of styles. Instead, there are a lot of black and white photos of clear glass designs. From time to time a few pages show color photos of nice decanters. But what really gets me salivating are gilded, colored, painted, enameled, and jeweled decanters. If you want photos of that, you need to look at "Moser Glass- The Klabin Collection" or "Enamels of the World- The Khalili Collection". For inexpensive books that have photos of several of the styles shown in this book and some I think are better, look at "Miller's Collecting Glass- The Facts at Your Fingertips" and "Starting to Collect Antique Glass".
